About an hour every morning of my first week with this laptop was spent extinguishing Linux fires that had somehow sprung up overnight. This is another one of those posts, the one’s where Linux desktop apologists have the urge to justify to the world why they do things.

This morning, I tried to install Ubuntu 21.
